YOU MUST HAVE A VALID NORTH CAROLINA LEARNER'S PERMIT TO TAKE THE ROAD TEST!!
You may use your car for the test or can use ours at no extra charge
Appointments are scheduled every 20 minutes at either Spring Lake or Sanford
Accommodations available for deaf/hard of hearing drivers
What to Bring to Road Test
Teens must by at least 16 but not yet 18 and bring the following items with them for the Road Test:
- Valid NORTH CAROLINA Limited Learner's Permit issued at least nine months before the date of the scheduled n test
- DL-123/Proof of Insurance
- Valid vehicle registration that matches the car you bring (unless you choose to use our car)
- Supervising Adult Driver (if not parent/guardian you must have letter of approval stating they can bring you for test)
Schedule Spring Lake Road Test

You will be taken to our scheduling and registration website and you may pay online or when you come for the Road Test Appointment. Our Spring Lake office is located at 242 S. Bragg Blvd. in the same parking lot at Old Sarge's Surplus. It is easier to find our building if you put Old Sarge's into your GPS. If you have any trouble just give us a call!
Schedule Sanford Road Test

Our Sanford location is downtown on the 2nd floor of 102 South Steele Street and is accessible by elevator. PLEASE use the side door on Carthage Street and come up the elevator to the 2nd floor.
